Through hands-on art, experiential learning, imaginative play, and meaningful connection, children are free to experiment, ask questions, get messy, work through challenges, and discover what they’re capable of—without the pressure of always getting it “right.”

 

There is purpose behind the play, and while every child’s growth looks different, we intentionally nurture five qualities throughout the Joy Creative Co. experience: our Five C’s.

The Joy Creative Co. Five C’s

 

-Caring — Learning to show kindness, empathy, encouragement, and respect for others.

-Collaboration — Working together, sharing ideas, listening to others, and discovering what we can accomplish together.

-Creativity — Using imagination, expressing original ideas, exploring possibilities, and learning that there is more than one way to approach a challenge.

-Confidence — Developing the courage to try new things, make independent choices, take creative risks, and believe, “I can do this.”

-Curiosity — Asking questions, exploring, discovering how things work, and developing a genuine love of learning.

 

The Five C's shape how we teach, encourage, and connect with our students—and they are the foundation of our Joy Creative Growth Report, which helps families celebrate the growth we see happening beyond the finished project.

 

Our hope is that every child leaves Joy Creative Co. with more than something they created or something new they learned. We want each child to leave knowing themselves a little better, believing they can do hard and wonderful things, and growing into the unique gifts and creativity God has placed within them!
